Prayer & Fasting
There was also a prophetess, Anna, a daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. … She did not leave the temple, serving God night and day with fasting and prayers. At that very moment, she came up and began to thank God and to speak about him to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem. – Luke 2:36-38
We pray for the redemption of Nashville, and the hundreds of nations the Lord has brought to our doorstep. We want to welcome our pastors, ethnic pastors, and missions pastors to a special Diaspora Missions Collective on November 14th. In this season of waiting for the holidays, where there will certainly be feasting, we want to set aside our last DMC of the year for fasting and prayer. We will have several ethnic pastors there to talk about their churches and ministries so we can pray for them.
We will also have a guided prayer time as we think and plan for the next year. God is doing something in Nashville with this collective of like-minded pastors and ethnic pastors concentrated on building the kingdom here and around the world.
We want to be strategic in our networking, partnering, and planning for next year, but we first want to make sure that we are seeking out God’s plan for the diaspora that he has brought to the city.
For this gathering, lunch will NOT be provided. Please RSVP so we have a good idea of those who will be here.
